What 3DEXPERIENCE Roles Do I Need?

Issue Visualization

  • Issues are represented as pins within the 3D geometry context.
  • Hovering over a pin provides a quick preview of the issue.
  • Clicking on a pin cross-highlights the issue within the Issue Management Widget.

Focused Issue Review

  • Users can toggle the Issues View, which makes all geometry transparent except for the affected component.
  • This ensures a clear and focused review of the issue at hand.

Storing and Managing Issue Data

  • Each issue can store detailed information, including:
    • Properties (which can be customized as needed)
    • Linked CAD geometry and context
    • Additional attachments, such as documents or 3D markups

Assigning and Tracking Issues

  • Issues are assigned to users with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Assignees receive notifications upon assignment.

Creating Changes from Issues

  • If an issue requires design modification, a Change Action can be created directly from the issue.
  • The Change Action is automatically linked to the issue and pre-filled with relevant information.
