Model-based system engineering and multi-disciplinary optimization from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will be used by General Aeronautics, a Bangalore, India-based firm that develops drones for agricultural use as well as other commercial and military uses, to create its next generation of aircraft.

Xsun

By avoiding using low-energy density batteries, Xsun has found a solution to the challenge of lifting these large weights into the air. As its name would imply, the SolarXOne’s single forward-mounted propeller is powered by the sun. The French startup has taken advantage of the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud-based platform and is using it to design and consolidate all its data on a single location, to keep a unique, clear and clean configuration of all the subsystems.
