Course Overview
This course will teach you how to create curves and surfaces using the Generative Shape Design workbench. You will learn how to analyse the wireframe and surface quality and rectify the defects. You will also learn how to work in a multi-model environment with published surfaces.

What You'll Learn
Course Agenda
Lesson 1: Introduction to Generative Shape Design
- In this lesson, you will be introduced to the User interface of the Generative Shape Design workbench.
- You will learn how to create geometrical sets and to manage features in the specification tree.
Lesson 2: Wireframe Creation
- In this lesson, you will learn how to create reference geometry and 3D curves.
- You will also learn how to analyse and manage the curve continuity.
Lesson 3: Surface Creation
- In this lesson, you will learn to create surfaces using the existing wireframe geometry.
- You will use the various surface tools such as Extrude, Revolve, Sweep, Multi-Section and Mid-Surface.
Lesson 4: Surface Re-Limitation and Connection
- In this lesson, you will learn to use various re-limitation tools such as split and trim.
- You will also connect surfaces smoothly using fillets and blends.
Lesson 5: Surface Check Tools
- In this lesson, you will learn to analyse and repair surface discontinuities.
- You will also learn to analyse parts for their moldability before manufacturing.
Lesson 6: Work in Multi-Model Environment
- In this lesson, you will learn how to create a model in the multi-model environment using the publication tool, in the assembly context.
