What You'll Learn
Course Agenda
Lesson 1: Introduction to DMU Navigator
- The module introduces you to the user interface.
- You will also learn about the advanced capabilities of the DMU Navigator workbench. These help you review, visualize and navigate through mock-ups.
Lesson 2: Managing Components
- In this module, you will learn how to manipulate the 3D objects and edit the component properties.
- You will also learn how to select the required components using the spatial and zone queries.
Lesson 3: Managing Simulations
- In this module, you will be introduced to the navigation-based and camera-based simulations.
- You will learn how to create different kinds of actions and integrate those using sequences. Here, you will also learn how to edit and play the simulations.
Lesson 4: Managing Video Animations
- In this module, you will learn how to create replays by using the existing tracks or animating a viewpoint.
- You will also learn how to generate videos utilizing tracks, replays or sequences.
Lesson 5: Managing Enhanced Scenes
- This module introduces you to enhanced scenes. In this module, you will learn how to create, edit and manage the enhanced scenes.
- You will also learn how to manage assembly components in an enhanced scene and create an exploded view of an assembly.
Lesson 6: Managing and Presenting Applicative Data
- In this module, you will learn how to reorder the applicative data like 3D annotations.
- You will also learn how to logically group the applicative data in a review and then create a DMU presentation under a review.
Lesson 7: Managing 2D Documents
- In this module, you will learn how to open and compare different 2D documents.
- You will also learn how to take various measurements in the 2D documents.
Training Methods
Choose from three different training methods available to you
Group / Classroom Training
Receive CATIA V5 Digital Mock-Up Navigator training in a group in a traditional classroom environment. Courses can be taken in one of our training locations in the UK, Ireland, US or Canada using DS approved training content and methodologies.
Advantages
- Cost effective training method.
- Leave the office to concentrate on learning.
- Learn more through group questions and feedback.
Live Online Training
With online training you will experience an interactive learning environment where you can give feedback, gain access to the training files and get time to work on training exercises.
Advantages
- Online courses can maximise convenience and save on travel expenses.
- More effective than video based training, with recorded videos learners are often not as focused on the training and skip exercises.
On-Site Training
Receive training at your place of work. This style of flexible training is perfect for teams or individuals who are faced with a specific challenge and require personalized courses with on-the-job coaching.
Advantages
- Use our state-of-the-art mobile classroom at your facility.
- Bring your team up to a consistent level of knowledge by having them take the same training at the same time.
