Securely navigate Process Engineering data

Provides a secure web-based interface that allows users to quickly and easily retrieve and navigate detailed Process Engineering data. The configurable dashboard allows users to access relevant manufacturing information such as Manufacturing Items (MBOM) and process plans. Each user can easily access information that they are responsible for such as modified process plans or visualize all assigned change orders and actions. The different types of information displayed in each section of the dashboard can be a specific subject, filtered by type, owner, or date modified. The dashboard views and filter settings can then be stored as user preferences.

Full Manufacturing and Maintenance Data Navigation

Navigate and explore the full scope of Process Engineering data. Access any associated object from any Manufacturing Item, routing, operation, work instructions or physical resource. For example, from one Manufacturing Assembly the user can get any associated document, associated routing and operations, associated changes, and where the manufactured assembly is used. The cross-highlight capability between structures helps the user to understand the links between the objects.

Easily compare Process Engineering data

Users can compare different revisions, variants, and builds of Manufactured Items, process plans, and resource structures. They can view two structures side-by-side with a choice of views (complete structure or view differences only). It provides an informative and efficient workspace to compare data.

Search, institute, and evaluate change orders

From the dashboard, the user can easily access their change requests, orders and actions. Get direct access to any associated changes from any object. Create change requests, orders and actions. Define the content of the change request/order/action by attaching any impacted process planning data.

Attach and retrieve supporting documents as objects in the PPR structure

Users can both access and manage supporting documents as objects attached to the PPR data. These documents may come from finance, purchasing, or other non-engineering sources throughout the enterprise that supply additional relevant information.

View manufacturing/maintenance process & work Instructions in browser-accessible format

Once manufacturing process and related work instructions are published using a dedicated command for Work Instructions Author (PWD), users can access these by using Manufacturing Reviewer with a web browser on a desktop or mobile device. Publication command from PWD recompiles DELMIA-authored manufacturing process & work instructions into a lightweight format and distributes them for review or execution for any manufacturing engineering or shop floor users. Users can choose 3D or 2D graphics to guide them through the work instruction experience.
